HMC Architects (www.hmcarchitects.com) brought Fountain Source on to the Centennial Pathway Project to work with their team, and the University, to coordinate and complete the design and construction of the World Plaza Fountain.  We worked closely with the stone and specialty metal providers to ensure that all the materials could be assembled easily in the field with a high precision.

To ensure that the stainless steel globe structure fit precisely to its mounting points, the structure was modeled in 3D and submitted to the specialty metal fabricator. The mounting locations were designed as recessed wells so that the decorative stone could be installed without interference, to conceal the water supply inlets, and control the velocity of flow to ensure that the surface water remains mirror smooth.
